AAVS is a national nonprofit organization that brings together those who have served alongside U.S. forces around the world, as well as the American service members and supporters who believe in recognizing the global alliance for freedom. Whether you wore a uniform under the stars and stripes or stood shoulder to shoulder with U.S. troops on foreign soil, you have a place with us.

Our Mission

At AAVS, our mission is to unite non-American veterans who served with U.S. forces in the pursuit of freedom and democracy. We also welcome U.S. veterans and supporters who believe in honoring those global partnerships that made missions possible. Through education, outreach, and advocacy, we uplift stories of valor, connect diverse communities of veterans, and provide support for families left behind.

We believe that shared sacrifice should never be forgotten — no matter the flag under which one served. Our work ensures that those who aided the United States in its time of need are never overlooked in their own time of need.
