Initiatives & Programs

Oral Histories Project

We actively collect and share the stories of allied veterans and their families. These are recorded, archived, and shared through:

  • Local community events

  • School speaking engagements

  • Military museums nationwide

Your story can inspire the next generation and heal hidden wounds.

Scholarships for Veterans’ Families

We provide scholarships to children of allied veterans who died in conflict or faced hardship post-deployment. This is more than financial aid—it’s an acknowledgment that their parent’s sacrifice has not been forgotten.

Public Engagement & Education

We work with schools, universities, and civic groups to create awareness about the global nature of military service. From Bosnia to Baghdad, we help communities understand what it means to serve alongside U.S. forces.

Events

AAVS hosts events that celebrate service, build community, and educate the public:

  • Veterans Day Gatherings

  • Panel Discussions at Military Museums

  • Allied Veteran Story Nights

  • Unity Marches and Fundraisers

  • Educational Symposiums in High Schools and Universities

We also offer virtual events to connect members across the country.
